I have to say that Smallville has a reputation for wedding episodes. It's a multilayered reputation and it's not ( Read more... )

How about the guy who was able to download the information for Oliver via WiFi on a router that wasn't even powered, Clark was just holding it?

Or..

Lana using her Lana-Fu and oops, Oliver's hoodie comes off, when that's never happened in any altercation he's been in with either Clark or Lex.

LOLOLOL!!! That's right!! Thanks for adding those to the list!

ETA - I think maybe the static from Lana's bad wig is what made Oliver's hood magically fall off. It's the only logical explanation.

Heee. I think Oliver's going to have to get one of those hoods that ties under the chin like a kid's parka. LOLOL!

And yes, that wig was horrible. They should have just left her with her own shortened hair, I'm sure she'd have looked fine with it.

I'm sure she would have too...since it's a funky, hip little pixie cut...perfect for Lana Fu or spying for Lex. ;)

Okay, I didn't watch the episode, so I can't comment on it, but this line of yours:

"What stunk (in no particular order of stinkiness)"

Cracked me up like pecan on Thanksgiving. Everything I've read about "Bride" is that it's a horror-fest upon horror-fest, but *whispers* those are always the most hysterical episodes to read about. Stripped down to the writing only, you get the sense that the people who run this show are either clinically insane or else on a fantastic combination of mind-altering drugs. Either way, it must be a really interesting time in the writer's room at SV. ;-)

Captain America and I were talking about that while I was watching the episode, and I think I would sit there and say, "Ah, Guys, let's really write the episode now, 'kay?"

The SV writers seem to just write from the How cool is this? perspective. Some ideas are cool, just not worthy of being written about. I think we should buy them some Dungeons and Dragons stuff and then take over the show. LOL

I just posted my thoughts on why what sucks about smallville sucks over at my own blog. Needless to say, I think it's the same reason that what sucks about Heroes sucks.

One of the things that bothered me. It's a sunny day in the kent barn, but night in metropolis while Davis/Doomsday is squishing around, disposing of bodies.

Also? Doomsday looks like a giant muppet.

I KNOW!! What's up with that? Obviously Metropolis exists in that hole in the space/time continuum that is whatever time of day it needs to be.

And yes, he did look like a muppet, didn't he? It would have been funnier if he'd looked more like Kermit, though. LOL!

Then I would have been imagining Chloe as Miss Piggy.

Do. Not. Want.

Oh, please, don't give up on SV. We can hate or love the same or different things, but at least we can share the experience. :)
