Damned fine boots actually. I've been wearing Vasque hiking boots for years (almost 20 now that I think of it) and they're owned by Redwing. As far as work boots, I used to own a pair of heavy duty redwings and they were good! The other ones who make good work and hunting boots (though many are insulated, so for summer find ones that aren't) is Danners.

Well, yesterday I went to our local Red Wing store and found a nice pair of work boots and they fit my feet great! They were marked down but even that was too much for right now but, I did put them on layaway. If all goes well, *fingers crossed*, I can get them this weekend.
Those looked like some nice boots. My only problem is finding they "right" one to fit. The pair I tried on yesterday that felt so good were a 12B. Yeah, I have a long & narrow foot!
