Currently I live across the road from a vacant building. It's a restaurant that closed for renovations back in the spring time and apparently the hire a restaurant consultant to whip them into shape

I know what you mean- I used to live on the 4th floor and now I'm on the first floor. I'll be sitting on my couch totally in my gross pjs and look out the window and see people walking by on the sidewalk. SAD! I love my privacy.
