I just love NPR's Speaking of Faith! I just listened to the one on autism. I have worked with several children on the autistic spectrum now, and this show perfectly captures some of the "bigger picture" aspects of working with children with autism.

And the one on Darwin and evolution was equally fascinating. I really need to listen to it again.

Eliot House Sundays!

I've decided that I'm going to start cooking large dinners for people one night a week and telling everyone to bring their friends. Big pots of soup, bread, maybe some brownies. And then we can have a ton of yummy food and yummy people for delicious conversation. I really can't wait. First one this Sunday. This is my big bad and smart plan to make community when we move to LA. I figure if you provide food, people will come.
