Oh, MN, how I love thee.
This week's Prairie Home Companion was broadcasted from none other than that essential MN institution--the MN State Fair! Gotta love it.
There were these young fiddle players who were amazing...and a Guy Noir piece on guarding a pig in the livestock building!
First day of school is tomorrow. I can hardly believe it!

What a whirwind week!
Things are getting better--this weekend we brought the bookshelves upstairs to make room for the new ones that will go downstairs. Also in that delivery coming Friday is a new sofa, loveseat, chair, ottoman, four dining room chairs, and a lovely circular purple rug for the living room.

Moving....
is crazy and I hate it!
But the house is wonderful and I love it. :)
Brought 4 car loads of stuff today. We have the moving truck tomorrow. So, this is the last night we will sleep in this house. Whee!
We also made an IKEA run tonight. Brian scoped it out (the one in Portland opened a few weeks ago), so we went tonight in were in and out with a floor ( Read more... ) -

I doubt I'll be able to grow my own food for a year anytime soon in my life, but it's the principle of it that calls to me, and few are more eloquent than Kingsolver. -

To say that I'm slightly sick of my computer would be an understatement.
