From my perspective on the comic, it looks like the hippy is doing more for peace.

I mean, the soldier is geared up, you can't spread peace with an assualt rifle.

You're welcomed to think that. In a way the comic could be open for interpretation.

Yet at the same time, theres no show of the results to their actions. The only thing that give anything away is the little girl, who looks like she's being 'rescued'. Guess thats also up to interpretation.

Yea, and last time I checked nobody won a Nobel Peace Prize invading other countries and shooting people. I doubt the Dalai Lama has ever even shot a gun, and he has done more for peace than anyone in our military could ever hope of doing. Go hippie, but he's missing a joint.
