We are home this morning waiting for the plumber to arrive. Yesterday, we discovered a big water leak under our kitchen sink. It wasn't hard to figure out since the leak was enough to soak the carpet 5 feet into the living room and dining room. It seems we have had a slow leak for a very long time we didn't know about because the wooden subfloor

It sucketh. We had the water turned off all night though, and the carpet is not quite so waterlogged this morning. I'm gonna go after it with my wetdry vac.
