Rheumatologist
So I finally had my appointment with my rheumatologist today. Rather disappointed. It was recommended that I find the lowest dose of painkillers to take steadily so that I won't hurt anymore... Anyone else do slides for their church, and if so, what program do you use, and do you like it? I have Media Shout and hate it, though theres an upgrade for it for me to try. -
Raystown
Jetskiing is seriously fun. And not really all that difficult either. Now water-skiing/wakeboarding? MUCH harder. I tried a few times today, and made it about 3/4 of the way up, but not all the way. Maybe tomorrow I can get it.
So far everything has been fun, I just hope the nice weather continues! -

Where was I??
Yeah, so the baseball game was fun, stadium was nice.
Sunday morning we slept in, and then Dan went to work at noon. He was allowed to do his work from noon till midnight. It took longer than we had hoped, so I didn't go to Worlds of Fun in Kansas city, which in retrospect I should have done. I bummed around the hotel for awhile, ( Read more... ) -

We did indeed go visit cousin Rob at the Pentagon. The tour there was nice, it's a mile and a half of walking, and they have you walk pretty fast. The guy in front of the tour does the entire thing walking backwards while yelling at the top of his lungs. He's also given a 40 page script to memorize. You don't get ( Read more... ) -

Holy moly... Green apple martini's are NOT supposed to be that big!!! Good thing next month's meeting is at Sonic... Next time I'm getting a hard lemonade, those don't hit as hard.

Work can be fun...
Tonight, I get paid to go to the bar. There's a mixer for "young professionals" from the Chamber of commerce that he's a part of. He asked if I wanted to go, so hey, why not? I get paid for the hours I'm there. Hence why I'm not going in till 11 today... So after I write I can go weed for a bit and then take a shower before I go to the mall. ( Read more... ) -
I do have a life, really, I promise.
Last week I got the rest of my hours back at work, so now I work from 9 to 5 everyday again. It's good to be back, but I keep feeling afraid that I'll lose my hours or my job next winter due to just plain lack of work. *shrug* There's not a lot I can do about that, other than to work well and efficiently to keep profits as high as I can. Peanut's first bath!
Apparently, the kitty doesn't mind too much when you give her a bath. It started out by me noticing today that she was shedding a lot, and thinking that it would be nice to get some of that fur off so I can stop wearing it all the time.
