The deed is done.As the type of smoker who usually only cracks open the fags in pubs/ clubs or after a meal in a restaurant, this is ultimately a good thing for me I suppose. The ban does not start until the summer of 2007 though, which brings me to a proposition for the smokers amongst us

Sounds like a great proposal. I almost wish I was a smoker to join you! :)
I didn't know about the ban until you just mentioned it, but it's great news... smoking in pubs can be pretty intense, I just don't go to them anymore because of it.

I really hate it when people smoke at gigs, it's hard enough to breathe as it is, what with all the moshing, heat, beatings, sardines-packed-tightly and dehydration. I nearly coughed up a lung last time! :(

Whilst I don't smoke, don't like it and certainly won't miss it, I am a tad annoyed that our government are telling us all how to live in such extreme ways!

Ahwell, it's too late now, I am all for what you said! Summer evenings with wine in Hyde Park are a must!
