Does anyone else find this incredibly creepy to watch?

This is a video of a new robot called Big Dog. Something about watching when it stumbles, and then the subsequent slo-mos really weirds me out. It really looks like some kinda alien animal.

OMG, that thing is SO SCARY, but SO AWESOME at the same time! Dude, when it was slipping on the ice? Wow. Also, when that guy kicked it?

I think this is one of the crazy robots danny was working on in Boston. he just left that company. now I know why. I am going to have nightmare tonight

Man I have a hard time believing that is real, but I have no justification. Like, I think it is, but it's so surreal that part of me wants to Deny it.

I wonder how much the parts cost... any idea where it was made?

Apparently it was made in Boston, by a company called Boston Dynamics.

Wow that thing is creepy. It looks like something out of Metal Gear. At least it's good to see that we'll have mechs soon.
