Heresy and survival
I believe in God. The Bible? A little less. The church? Even less so.
Why believe in a god anyway? He doesn't even show up and do stuff. He probably either doesn't care, or doesn't exist, man. Then, I remembered this Lao Tzu saying:

personally hindi rin ako naniniwala sa version ng God ng mainstream religions...para sa akin God is more of the source of everything and less (actually i believe hindi naman talaga siya dapat) of a "being" na kelangan nating i-worship and glorify. i mean of course we should appreciate what was given to us pero it doesn't necessarily mean na the more we pray (aka "suck up") to the deity (or deities) the more favorable the world will be to us. it's not how the world works i believe.
