*hugs you tight*
Awww~ I don't really know what to say to such events... I am not really that good in the confiding zone, but I feel you.

Awww~

How about keeping the celebration tradition alive?

For example, you'll visit his grave first and then afterwards go to the Japanese restaurant to eat?

That's what we do in our family. After seeing our relatives at the cemetery, we go out to eat and have fun.

If you make seeing your grandfather a happy thing, then you'll look forward to seeing him next year and now be as so sad?

But i agree with ayumi_kitty that time will heal you.
What i do to cheer me up is just talk to him, my grandfather died when I was young, so i never got a chance to know him, but i always give out mental shout-outs to him updating him on my life.

Ugh. WHY WAS MY NET CONNECTION SO CRAPPY WHEN YOU POSTED THIS!? Kerols-chan ♥ You're lucky 'cause you had memories with your ojii-chan. I never had with mine. :( I'm sure that wherever our grandpas are right now, they're friends and they're drinking whisky together :). I bet he's so proud of you. *hugs*
