Waiting for the last of Lost

Okay. Only one season finale to go, and that's it. Sayonara, thanks for playing, see you in another life, brother.

While the beginning of the season dragged a little, the show has certainly kicked it up a notch or fifty with the last few episodes, and I absolutely loved watched What They Died For. So much fun. So much fucking fun! And now everyone's going to a concert! Oooh, this is gonna be good. Don't really have time to write anything long or completely coherent, so I'll just down a few thoughts and theories (not all of them fitting in with each other) in no particular order.

1. It's one timeline. Sort of. See, I really like the idea of Lost X taking place after Lost Prime. Why? Well, not everyone agrees with me on this, but to me it's obvious that people are happier in Lost X. It's a better reality. For instance, they're all alive. So I haven't really been upset when people died this season. 'Cause, you know, deep down I think it'll be all right for them anyway. And I just don't think Team Carlton would leave us with a tragic ending; I just don't see that happening. Of course, it's important that the time on the Island actually mean something, so I very much approve of everyone slowly regaining their memories. Now, I don't think Desmond's planned little get together at the concert is solely about everyone remembering their Island time properly. I think they have to do something to make this reality - Lost X - actually happen. Not sure about that - I'm not sure about anything. It's just a hunch.

2. Jacob. I don't wanna gloat, but I maintained from the very get go that he was not as nice and cuddly as he seemed. And I really like MiB before he turned Flocke. MiB as Flocke - not much of a fan. I remain firmly on the side of Team Human. This whole light and protection and yada yada business. It's a scam, people! Sink the bloody island already.

3. Funny thought occured to me last night as I rewatched What They Died For. What if MiB isn't lying at all - he really wants to help everyone to go home. The thing is, the only way of really leaving the Island is by dying. You die, you move on the Lost X. And when every possible candidate is gone, and the light has gone out, MiB too can die and move on. This might explain why we haven't seen Michael in the Lost X yet. He's one of them who 'can't move on'. Stuck in limbo, on the island.

4. I'm so glad Zoe is dead. The chick annoyed the hell outta me ever since she showed up.

5. Ben always has a plan. He's up to something, and I don't think it's about helping dear ol' Smokey. But... everyone is regaining their island memories? Does that include Danielle and Alex, and will this ruin Ben's chance of truly becoming a part of their little family? Seriously, that would suck.

6. Sawyer must be Miles' date! 'Cause that would be awesome, and give him a chance to meet with Jack's ex-wife, who better be a coffee loving blonde.

I do have more to say, but no time. Stay tuned for part 2.
