As the creators of the show have expressed their preference for the Man in Black to be known as the Man in Black, apparently as a nod to Stephen King’s Dark Tower novels, I thought I’d title this obligatory “fuck what an amazing finale and fuckfuckfuck I can’t believe it’s over”-post with a paraphrase of the very first sentence of those books.
