Oh Keely, what a marathon of a trial you guys had to go through! So glad you came home healthy though, and the pics you've posted of Wiley are gorgeous.
I hope you don't mind that I came here and read this. It makes me so glad that I didn't live in Denver any more when I was pregnant and birthing. I am so sad that you went through this experience with them assuming you're the devil because you had been planning/hoping for a home birth. It sounds like they had an idea of who you were that was not at ALL based on reality - you asked the kind of questions any sane person would want answers to without being rude and they just decided you were antagonistic. I would be LIVID if my membranes were swept (or ANY other procedure) without my knowledge/permission. I am so, so sad that it happened this way for you =( *hug*
Aw I want to hug you. In big ways they were so different, but I see what you mean about the similarities. It just all around sucks so much it makes me want to cry. If a hospital (in theory) is the safest place to have a baby then why do they make it so unattractive, scary, and risky.
