Alrighty....here's more about Alaska. Maybe
I'll be able to get to orientation this time. I'll try for something a
little more abbreviated, especially since our trip was 11 days long,
but read this entry at your own risk!!!!
Anyway, on the trip to Denali, we were driving through these incredible
mountains, even more incredible because they were at such a low
elevation.
You know what....screw this long explanation.
HIGHLIGHTS: we saw 3 moose, 12 bears(11grizzlies), and entire
wolf pack (2 parents and 6 pups), 3 humpback whales, 2 groups of
dolphins, 2 puffins(i think), many eagles (one from about 50or
less feet away), so many salmon spawning, seals, sea otters, a sea
lion, lots and lots of beautiful scenery, and many fun shops which we
spent close to 1000 bucks in as a collective family(it think). my
parents bought a reindeer pelt, even!
it was a crazy fun vacation. you should DEFINITELY go if you have the
chance. And take the ferry from Valdez to Seward. It was so beautiful
there. I didn't even notice the 9 hours pass by...
I LOVE RACHEL!!! SHE IS MY LOCKER BUDDY!!! NO DRUGGIES(OR AT LEAST NOT REALLY) FOR ME!!!
wasn't it interesting how we all had to wear that stuff, though? mine
was the best group: the pimpin puffin' harry potters....yep. we were
all on crack. nod.
i will be so fing lost in that school. that tour did NOTHING to help
me. i had no clue where i was at any point... i will be heavily relying
on all of you who have had older sibs go through rocky and know the
general layout to help me!!!
LUV YOU ALL!!!!!!!
