What are you currently knitting?

I am very, very, very slowly working on my first sweater, a rather plain number, jazzed up by being made from this yarn, the colors of which are much brighter/ richer in person.

Other projects in the future: an afghan/ blanket type deal (anyone know of patterns I might like?) and fingerless gloves.
