He was still referring to her has 'the dragon' in his mind, because then he didn't have to think so much about the fact that he'd just helped killed one of his friends. Never mind that she hadn't been herself, that she'd been insane and rampaging and would have killed anyone she'd come across - Aara was his friend.
Bobby'd had enough of having to fight his friends back on Alcatraz.
He was still in his ice form, and he didn't want to turn back. Maybe it would be better if he just - stayed in ice form this whole time. It was easier to detach himself like this, to keep himself focused on the mission. Less chance of actually started to have to think about what he'd done, now that the battle was over ( ... )

Until Bobby stepped out .. his gaze hadn't quite moved in the mutant's direction. Then Bobby called out to him and right properly snatched the attention of the infected faun.
There was a thing people often forgot about goats .. they were rather fleet of foot and could move with very impressive speed and dexterity when properly motivated. Bobby calling out to him from a comparitively close distance was more than enough motivation.
Lips pulling back from his teeth, the faun began to trot toward Bobby, a snarl rumbling low in his throat. That snarl, Bobby, was anything but sane sounding. Bloodshot blue-grey eyes have locked on their prey, however, and the hunger has his mind.
Already, even without ever having done such, the thrill of the hunt bleeds into the rage pumping through the faun's

Yeah, excellent job getting his attention there, Bobby. Too bad this was obviously not his friend anymore, but another zombie.
Bobby wasn't entirely sure he could do this. He'd just killed Aara, he didn't know if he had it in him to take out another one of his friends. For a very brief second, he considered just...not. Just running off while he still could, or...but, no. He couldn't. He was out here to try and protect people, he couldn't just let another zombie roam free to kill someone else.
He concentrated, attempting to shift into his ice form, and - nothing happened. A bit panicked, he tried it again, but that only resulted in tiring him out more.
All right, now was probably the time to run. But he'd taken too long debating and trying for ice form, and Tumnus was pretty much on him now. The best he could do was slip into a defensive stance.

His trot isn't yet an all out run, as the boy before him hasn't even made a move to run. He doesn't understand the look of panic on the young mutant's face, but he recognizes fear.
When he's close enough, the rage and hunger fully in control, Tumnus charges and moves to barrel bodily into Bobby. His horns will do little enough damage, but the fists that come swinging and the nails within them might.
And then there is that damned umbrella .. acting as an extension of his arm it will swing at Bobby too.
There is no rhyme or reason to the attack or its methods .. the faun simply seeks blood and an outlet for the fury burning his mind.

Tumnus slammed into him, but Bobby's stance was strong enough that it didn't knock him completely over. He grunted, twisting to dodge the swinging fists and bringing up his arms to protect his face.
And then used one to block the swinging of the umbrella, which worked - save for the fact that the arm he'd had to block with was the one the dragon'd already mauled. He grimaced at the pain, but didn't allow it to slow him down. Bobby went in low, swinging an uppercut with his other fist at Tumnus's jaw.

He takes the fist right to the jaw, though, and totters backward.
For a moment everything stops, Tumnus' head angled toward the sky above him. And then he lowers his gaze once more to Bobby, a feral grin on his face. He barrels in again, this time using the umbrella much as he would a human golf club; to wail on and beat as much and as hard as possible.
If he knocks him hard enough that he is forced to block, he will try to tackle the young man to the ground.

It was harder than it'd been with Aara. He'd never seen Aara's dragon form before, easier to disconnect them in his mind. And even besides that, he'd been working with others, darting in and out and trying to stay at a distance. This...this was up close and personal.
Bobby took a few steps back when his punch knocked Tumnus back as well, breathing a bit heavy and becoming rather more aware of the fact that his chest was hurting. And then Tumnus looked back at him again, with that smile on his face, and Bobby swallowed.
He ducked, crouching low to the ground in an attempt to avoid the club like swings - and was only partially successful, as one clipped him in the shoulder. And then he rolled, trying to get away, but also leaving himself a bit open for tackling.

Tumnus roars as Bobby shifts at the last minute, but being fleet of foot as he is, the faun moves with surprisingly accurate steps. When Bobby rolls, Tumnus is on him in a flash; and this time he comes complete with teeth.
He clubs at Bobby with everything available to him, his weight heavy as he tries to pin the younger man beneath him. He closes in then, mouth open as he seeks purchase on any flesh he can get ahold of.

He shoved his forearm over his face, trying to protect himself from the biting. Fortunately, this time he remembered to use his uninjured arm, which was still protected by the sturdy material of his uniform.
But he couldn't just block him forever. Especially since Tumnus was still clubbing at him, and Bobby wasn't exactly in the best position to dodge those. He knew he didn't have enough energy or strength left to bodily push Tumnus off, but he reached up with his free hand to grab at Tumnus's hair, trying to pull his head back, and hooked one of his legs over one of Tumnus's in an attempt to roll them over.
Though at that point, he wasn't certain he had enough strength for that, either.

Tumnus' teeth find the material of Bobby's uniform and he howls in rage, nails moving to claw and score before balling into fists again. Punching and clubbing seemed to be working best for now.
When Bobby reaches up to grasp at Tumnus' hair, the faun is blind to the pain of it and rips his head free, leaving no small amount of the browl curls clutched in the mutant's fingers. He doesn't recognize the pain to his now bloody scalp, twisting the umbrella to stab with its point.
If Bobby succeeds in rolling them over, his weight could prove his downfall. If he doesn't, then the faun it still going to try to gore him with it, both hands wrapped around its handle.

Discarding the clump of hair he now held, Bobby concentrated, forcing past exhaustion and lack of strength to freeze some protective layers of ice over his head, neck, and arms. That was as far as he got, though. He definitely needed to not be under Tumnus anymore, and he surged up, a last burst of strength.
Bobby was indeed successful in forcibly turning them over, putting himself on top - and right into the point of the umbrella. Too late, Bobby locked his arms to prevent himself from sinking further, but it'd already stabbed his stomach. He pushed off, rolling away from Tumnus, and ended up flat on his back a foot or two away, breathing heavily and trying to order his body to ignore the pain and move.
Reply
His rage fogged mind debates quickly as to how to proceed when he's flipped over .. and then the fresh scent of blood fills the air and he feels it dripping from Bobby's stab wound and onto himself. He moves to jab the umbrella futher upward, but Bobby moves too quickly off of him.
Tumnus' gaze follows the teen and he scrambles after, umbrella still in hand. He uses it as a sword of sorts, stabbing at Bobby forcefully and brutally in attempt to score another hit.
Wounded as he is, how long can the young mutant avoid the faun's strikes?

But he no longer had the energy to maintain the ice around his arms, and it was slowly starting to melt. The ice lost its strength, and Tumnus's next stab broke through, piercing Bobby's already injured arm. He tore it away, but he could no longer block Tumnus's stabbing.
He drew up his legs, trying to get his knees in between them to shove Tumnus off, but he couldn't work up the strength to apply any kind of force. He was breathing heavily, dizzy and light-headed from blood loss, and part of him was irrationally still trying to shift into his ice form. His injuries wouldn't matter, he'd stop bleeding, the pain would stop, everything would just stopBut he couldn't ( ... )

When he connects with flesh once more he snarls, the scent pushing him into a near frenzy. When he brings his umbrella down once more, it plunges directly into Bobby's gut.
A spray of dark blood hits his face and chest as he yanks it out, not noticing that Bobby has gone limp beneath him. The motion repeats several times until Bobby's midsection is almost unrecognizable and the umbrella is covered in gore.
Then he begins to feed, digging his bare hands into the boys' midsection and ripping out anything her can grab. His teeth rip and tear out hunks of flesh that he swallows without chewing.
In the end, and only with his hunger temporarily satisfied, the faun finally rises from the corpse and begins to trudge off in search of more interesting quarry.

If he told her she was pretty...
He meant it.
So when Bobby doesn't show up in the Keep's kitchen and he doesn't contact Raven, she's immediately flooded with fear and worry.
She'd stayed there quite a while, hoping against hope he'd walk through those doors, but the longer she sat there perched on that counter and the more time that passed without a peep...the more that worry started to turn into abject terrorShe tried to force it down - rationalize that he got caught up in something, but it was with no small amount of urgency that she finally hopped down from her seat and ran out in to the halls, calling his name and searching for him ( ... )
