[Ironhide will be found waiting on the edge of the forest. He's a massive hulk of black metal, with folded arms and a single-optic scowl

[Bobby'd shifted into his ice form as soon as he got outside. Everything he's heard about this forest makes him want the extra protection. That, and he doubts Ironhide would recognize him out of it.

He spots Ironhide quickly enough and makes his way over, giving the robot a nod in greeting as he stops by his side to wait for the others.]

[Kevas is already there, sitting crouched by the forest's edge with the map he got from Jack in hand. It may not be so helpful going in as he's not sure just where in the forest that explosion came from, but getting back out is another story.

He gives Bobby a quick nod and stuffs the map back into his pocket. Looks like they got some familiar faces showing up.]

[Zhaneel wings in overhead, scanning the area below for whomever might already be gathering for the lighthearted jaunt into the woods.

Although she has only been introduced to Ironhide and Bobby since her arrival, she only recognizes 'Hide as she spies the mix-matched group up ahead.

Backwinging, the gryphon comes in for a landing, a crossbow in place between her wings with a ring of bolts attached and at the ready. You thought she was formiddable enough as it was? Well, this gryphon is trained in archery and has a pretty badass set of steel warclaws in her neck satchel ready to pull on if need be.]

[And in comes Mimmi, feeling a bit out of place amongst a bunch of people who are actually capable of, you know, fighting. But whatever, she yanked a knife, okay. She knows how to use that much.

She also decided it was a good idea to bring a small bag of stuff, because damn it she is not letting other people and herself romp around the woods without something extra in case of emergency. That's just stupid. But she didn't really bring a lot. Just some food, a canister of water, and some bandages. She expects they're not really going to need to use any of it. (Hopefully).

So Mimmi stands awkwardly off to the side and just waits.]

[Lily shows up not too long after the post. She left as soon as she could get on her jumpsuit (which takes a little while, actually).

Lily packed light. The only weapons she's brought are her pistols (which Lily doesn't know only fire rubber bullets) and a few clips of extra ammunition. That should be good, right? Very good.

Upon seeing her, Lily jogs over to Mimmi and smiles. Hell no, Lily is not leaving Mimmi's side. Ever.]

[Enter Raven, shifted onto her natural form and ready to go.

She was...not expecting to see a giant robot, bit she takes it in stride and moves to stand next to Bobby.]

[Ironhide glances back and forth between the assembled, still scowling. Then he shakes his head, and starts marching into the forest.]

Move out. Kevas, the rear, with the ice... boy. Rest of you, stay between us.

[Riku doesn't waste any time, making his way to the edge of the forest. Where he might have usually used a corridor of darkness, he walks this time, frowning slightly as he thinks about the conversation he and Ironhide had.

This will be interesting.

He arrives just as Ironhide gives the order to move out, but says nothing, intending to slip into the rear as well. He doesn't trust anyone at his back, not yet.]

[Bobby recognizes all but two of the people going with them, and gives them all smiles or nods in greeting as they arrive. When Ironhide tells them to move out, he resists the urge to correct that to Iceman, thank you very much. This isn't the time for that.

Instead, he just falls back to stand next to Kevas, waiting for the others to follow after Ironhide before heading into the forest himself. He doesn't recognize the late arrival, but gives him a nod, waiting for him to move forward as well.]

[Now this was one odd group. Maybe Ironhide shouldn't leave it so open next time he asked for volunteers. For the life of him he couldn't think why Mimmi was even her. Hopefully he wouldn't have to die again to keep her safe.

With a nod to Ironhide, Kevas headed towards the back of the group. He knew what to expect while they were in there so hopefully he could spot something before it got to one of the others.

At the sight of the newcomer, he nodded him towards the rest of the group.]

[As the order to move is given by the metal creature, Zhaneel nods her beak once, buntakes to the air with a solid leap upwards and a strong pair of downbeats. Once aloft she will stay so at least until she is no longer able to see the group of explorers through the tree canopy; then she would take her scouting to the ground.]

[Aaand they're off. Awesome. great start, everybody. No one has fallen and strapped their hands or twisted an ankle or something.

Or died.

Yet.

So Mimmi follows along within the little crowd, sticking as close to Lily as possible.]

[Raven decides sticking next to Bobby is just the easiest thing - age trudged in silence, trying to focus on her task and nothing else that might be swirling in her mind.

She really hopes she doesn't die today.]

[Their fearless leader has... quite honestly... just picked a direction and started marching. There's a lot of ground to cover.]

[It had to have come from deep in the forest, though. Otherwise whatever it was would have been seen, wouldn't it? So that's the direction he heads, plowing through bushes -- deeper into the trees.]

[At Bobby and Kevas's urges to head out with the rest of the group, Riku bristles to himself, though he keeps his expression even. He can take care of himself--the only reason he's bothered with going in a group is because he's been warned against it so often.]

I think I'll stay back here.

[But he -will- step off before the other two do, keeping wide to one side so that he can keep an eye on everybody.]

[Bobby shrugs at the other guy's comment.]

Fine by me.

[He doesn't really care how close to the back of the group this guy feels he needs to stick to. It's obvious Raven's had the same idea, and Bobby's definitely relieved about her sticking close. He keeps an eye out as best as he can as they move into the forest, watching for any sign of movement.]
