Bryn was at the harpsichord playing. The shorter keyboard was definitely something to adapt to, as she was used to having a much wider expanse for movement and octaves, but then the music didn't call for notes beyond what was available.
Surprisingly, Bryn found herself completely content to play. She would learn to dance, but this was the first time she'd been able to play for people to dance to. The experience was something she enjoyed a great deal, evident by the wide smile on her face as her gaze flicked between the dancers and her sheet music.
The nice thing about this practice was that there were pauses often enough for her to watch, or stretch. At the moment, she was taking a break from playing to watch the dancers more closely. She debated to herself whether or not she'd choose that moment to join them, or play more...

Tumnus had come along to the festivities in order to play as well, having had few enough opportunities to do so since arriving at the Keep. He had enjoyed listening to some of the other musicians, but hadn't had the chance to really get to know them as of yet.
At a break in playing he took the opportunity to do so, approaching the young woman that had been playing the harpsichord so well.
"You have lovely fingering, child," he offers as he walks up to Bryn, smiling pleasantly.
Bryn looks up to the faun, and after taking a brief moment to let her brain reconcile with the myth standing in front of her, she smiled.
"Thank you so much," she replied, pleased at the compliment. "I've been playing for many years now, but this is the first time I've had the opportunity to do so for dancers."

Tumnus nods, his expression warm. "You have done more than well in your studies, I must say. it is not many who handle a harpsichord so well as you've done."
Then he brightens, ears flicking a bit, "Oh, but festivals are the most enjoyable to play for. I look forward to offering assitance at the upcoming party if need be. The energy in such surroundings is amazing."
Then he blinks, catching himself. "Oh, how rude of me. Allow me to introduce myself..." He bends into a courtly bow, inclining his head to her. "Tumnus at your service, young lady."
He was awfully polite, and Bryn found that she liked him immediately. Despite the fact that people were not always as they seemed, the ones who said they were evil not being so sometimes, and others pretending to be good who were not, Tumnus did in fact seem to be as he appeared.
She inclined her head as he bowed his head, and smiled at him.
"My name is Bryn," she responded. "And again, thank you. Do you play as well? Or will you assist in other ways?
Tumnus is pleased as she grants him her name, head lifting before slowly straightening his stance once more.
"It is a pleasure to make your aquaintance, Bryn," he intones in he same level of politeness. Then his expression brightens and hennods his head, hair shifting about his small horns.
"I do, yes," he begins and realizes how vague an answer that was. "Ahh, play that is. The pipes." He holds them up for her to see, although a second set still hangs around his neck. "I shall play for the festival if they'll have me," he replies. "Otherwise I shall simply enjoy myself and the company there."
