Sandrath was looking rather dapper tonight. He was dressed as a character who had sold his soul and could not gaze upon his portrait or else suffer from the consquences.
So, the fallen arch-angel was looking around the room. A part of him wanted to mingle with new people but another wanted to find some friends to spend time with. Or perhaps, even a partner to dance with, regardless of gender.
Well Sandrath, there just so happens to be a lady wearing an interesting costume lingering at the edge of the dance floor, watching the couples whirling around.
"Slow might be better. It's been a while since I've danced like this." Te Ata is rather graceful even with the long dress and cloak, but it's obvious she's a little unsure of herself.
"I was taught well by my mentor." He informed although a brief frown appeared on his lips. "Although, I'm surprised I remember the steps as well as I do."
There was a bit of a bitter laugh from him. Changing subjects, he smirked a little.

"Would you like to dance?" He asked with an out-stretched hand to her.

She smiles and slips her hand into his own, "I would be glad to."

"Do you have a preference for slow or fast?" He asked while making sure to avoid other couples.

He was graceful with his movements too, but had more confidence.

"We never exchanged names."

Te Ata laughs, "How terrible of me. My name is Te Ata."

He wasn't sure if he should stick with Te, but figured it was easier to say the whole thing.
"Sandrath."

She smiles, "As is yours. Nice to meet you, Sandrath."

San watched her costume twirl before pulling her back to him, his gaze level with hers.

Te Ata raises an eyebrow at Sandrath but says nothing and resists the urge to smirk. At least he's not staring at her uncovered leg.
