What: Shalnark brings Lily's body back after using her as a test subject.

Logan hears Shal long before he reaches the inside of the Keep. He doesn't say anything to Mimmi. Not right away, since he doesn't want to alarm her. He took her hand in his, just in case.

"Hey, let's go this way," he says, nodding toward the direction Shal's voice came from. But he could tell something was wrong, he could smell it. Also Mimmi, never mind those claws sliding out of his free hand. NEVER MIND THEM.

Mimmi is confused, because why does Logan suddenly want to change directions? But that's okay, no big deal.

"Oh, all right..."

And then she notices those claws. What the fuck.

"Logan?"

Logan glances over at Mimmi, giving her hand a light reassuring squeeze. Don't worry. "Something's wrong," he whispered, "Stay close to me."

Logan is clearly taking the lead here. Mimmi, he'd rather you stay behind him. When he sees the person crying out for help, Logan yells. "Hey! Hey kid! What's wrong?"

Ah, people! Shal hurries towards them, doing his best not to jolt Lily's body as he goes. Wouldn't want to do more damage now, would he?

"It's Lily! She-- we need a doctor. We need a doctor right now!"

Mimmi didn't really comprehend the words that came out of Shal's mouth. Lily needing a doctor yeah hahaha right what reality is this. So it took a couple seconds to sink in. Dread kickstarting a sudden surge of anger, and fear, she pulled her hand out of Logan's and rushed over.

"What happened to Lily?"

"Mimmi, wait," he tried to catch her before she slipped by him. So much for shielding her from this. He stood behind her instead, as more of an intimidating, 'I will kill you if you try anything' presence. His eyes drifted down to Lily's body and he could tell she was dead. You didn't have to be a mutant to see that.

"Doctor ain't gonna do any good." He frowned and looped an arm around Mimmi's shoulders, urging her back against him. Hopefully she'd respond. And he's looking at Shal expectantly. Yeah. What happened?

Shal's grip on Lily tightens at Logan's words. "What? No! We have to try the doctor. Maybe if we get there fast enough, maybe she'll... maybe they can..."

He looks from Mimmi to Logan, eyes pleading. They have to try to save Lily! They have to!
