Bonfire Party!

It was amazing how much work was necessary for a small get together, but also how quickly and easily it went with the help of another person. Especially when that person happened to be on staff

Joe might not have been certain why Bryn was throwing the party, but he had his guesses and was more than happy to help out with the preparations. Now they were here and everyone looked to be having a good time.

Glass of Dos' homebrew in hand, Joe took a seat by the fire and watched the people around him. It was good to see everyone so happy.

It was a little while into the party before Bryn spotted Joe by the bonfire. Realizing she hadn't spoken to him since baking in the kitchen earlier that day.

"I think everything's going really well," she said in greeting, looking extremely pleased by the turn out. "I wanted to thank you again for your help with everything. I couldn't have done this without both you and Sycora."

Joe shrugged his shoulders and flashed the girl a grin. "I didn't do much. You an' Sycora put most of this together."

Sipping at his drink, Joe patted the seat beside him. "Pull up a chair if you've got a minute to sit."

"I think I've got one or three of them," she replied, taking a seat where he indicated. She rubbed her hands together to help draw in the heat of the fire and looked rather content. A lot of that haunted, uncertain attitude she'd carried with her during her first weeks had slowly faded.

"We might have done a lot but I'm pretty sure the cookies would have come out burnt if not for your input," she added with a hint of amusement. Bryn had been fairly concerned about things getting undercooked.
