If Tony had said he would leave Mimmi be, this probably would've been the end of it. Logan would've went back to the tavern and finished his cigar and whiskey. But that post had been unsettling. Whatever had happened to Mimmi was clearly bad since Deior had punished him. But it wasn't enough.
Tony was going to leave Mimmi alone from here on out, because Logan was going to make sure of it.
He was in here, Logan could smell him. It was faint and almost too difficult to distinguish from everything else. But it was there. It was just a matter of finding where. "I ain't finished with you, Tony. Get out here."
Get out there? Oh, no, no, that wasn't Tony's style at all. Tony had never been good with physical violence, really, unless it was against a woman, a child, or someone smaller or weaker than him. He much preferred to use words to solve things, but it seemed like words wouldn't work this time.
His breath was coming faster, shaking, as the steady sense of absolute fear set in. He tried to calm himself down, but it was really a losing battle. He was terrified.
Tony coming out of the confessional was not going to be happening at all.
Okay fine. He wanted to do this the hard way. Logan's senses led him to the confessionals and he checked them all. One by one.
Until there's only one left. The time for talking was long over and done; Tony had had his chance. The door opened and when Logan spied Tony, he curled his hand into a fist.
Metal scraping across metal makes a distinctive sound. Snikt! "I said I ain't finished with you yet."
If Tony had thought he was terrified before, that was nothing compared to what he felt now. The man had claws coming from his hands, and he looked like he meant to use them.
"Oh god." Tony shot up, his hand clenching convulsively around the pipe as his journal fell from his lap to the floor, open, and he tread on it as he pressed his back against the wall, shuddering. "Oh god, please don't do this."
