I've been lurking around nereide_rp while I was deciding to app, and what glimpses I've seen of your Axel so far have been really good. But if you want general advice, I'd say that so many Axel players' pitfalls are that they overdo his friendship with Roxas. Yes, it's a huge part of his character, but they forget he's also a selfish asshole at times who would happily drag Roxas back to the Organization to make himself happy, and if he can't have him, no one can. The sappy sentimental Axel who sits eating ice cream on that clock tower can also set fire to Vexen with a big grin on his face. Roxas is the driving force for most everything he does, but it could be argued that at times it's out of selfishness than any noble ideals of genuinely wanting to help or protect him. He is a Nobody, after all, and it's important to balance both extremes of his character.

I haven't played 358/2 Days yet (waiting for the English release), so I think someone who actually has would be able to elaborate more on it. I guess all I can say is just go with your instinct from playing him and what canon interaction they do have, and the rest should follow.

UNT has this roommate matching thing where you fill out a profile with generic questions, get your top matches of who fits your criteria, and then you can email them and ask them moar questions and get to know them and stuff. That's what I did with my roommate~ She's cool. :D
