Feelin' good! So excited about Studio 60!! Squee!!!!! Unfortunately, I have to wait till the Fall :(. Oh well. I can find other ways to entertain myself.
I have a thing at 5, so I might not be around much till later. I hate it when RL gets in the way of my focus.
I hope your thing goes well. By the way, I rented Ender's Game from the library and will start reading it tonight! I also rented Number by Tobias Dantzig. It's about the evolution of mathmatics and was published in 1930. It was recommended by Albert Einstein so I figured; "Why not?" :) Hope to catch you later tonight.
You got EG?!?!? Woohoo! It's not like the toughest book ever. It'll probably only take you a few hours to read. Maybe a little longer if you feel the need to have a life while reading it. I don't want you finish it and being like, "This is her favorite book? She must be really stupid!" or anything. It's just a really good read. And I love it because I'm in love with Ender. Except he's 6. But whatever.
I'm back from my thing now. But I might actually have to do homework tonight. We'll see

I was just saying that the Twins are my team (being from MN) not that the were the best team. But let's analyze that. The Red Sox, a team with vast resources and a huge fan base has won one World Series in the last 88 years. The Twins, a team with pathetic resources and a comparatively tiny fan base has won two World Series since you've been born ('87). Food for thought.
I went to college not far from my home. I lived at home and took the bus. You must tell me of these 'substances' you speak of. I've never had any 'substance' of any kind, so I'm curious.
P.S. and I was just kidding about the Red Sox, Liz! I know better than to test the love of a Sox's fan. I'm a fan of the Minnesota Vikings after all.

I'm going to ignore all of that about the Red Sox because I think it's crap. Also cuz you mentioned Football and I can so kick you ass there. Tom Brady, baby! But thank you for reminding me when I was born ('87) :-p.
And by substances I just meant alcohol. Well, no, that's a lie, but I'm not gonna go there. You've never drunk (drank? what the hell is the past tense?) before? Is that for health reasons or religious reasons or moral reasons or what? I'm not judging or anything, just wondering.
But, yah, pretty much anything you could want is easily available on a college campus. Alcohol flows freely on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nighs, and all you need to do for a good time is find a friend with a bottle of Vodka, some mixers, some good music, and a couple of other people to dance with.

You're afraid of talk sports, eh? :p Your loyalty to your teams is admirable. Please allow me mine. When I say the Twins and Vikings are my teams I'm not saying anything about you or yours. Besides, can't all A.L. fans unite behind one common theme? Hatred of the Evil Empire.
I've never had a drink because I don't like the taste of alcohol and I don't need it to have a good time (I'm a fun person). You can e-mail me if you want to tell me of the other substances (more private). Seriously, do this, if you're comfortable enough to. Allow a man to live vicariously through a teenage girl.
Aw, sorry, I didn't mean to get all down on your teams. I was just going for friendly bickering, and probably online it came out differently and seemed a little to harsh. Sorry. And yes, we can unite behind that hatred. My ex-best friend at school is a Yankees fan. Shoulda tipped me off from the beginning that we weren't going to be BFFs
( ... )
Friends with benefits is an interesting idea but I've always wondered how people could do it without someone getting hurt.
I don't know about friends at work. I didn't make a single friend my entire time in college. Probably because I didn't live on campus. I would take the bus to class. Read between classes and then take the bus home after class. I only had a couple of friends in highschool. I'm a loner and live in my head a lot.
Get some work done and get some sleep. Sweet dreams Elizabeth.
1. I think people usually get hurt with the friends with benefits thing. One or the other. Probably it's just that the half that didn't get hurt thought it was so great and easy and talks it up like it's no big deal.
2. Olson, you should try to make friends. Living in your head is great but you need a balance. I am a professional, you should listen to me. I know it's hard though. Meeting new people and trying to actually become their friend sucks, it really does. It takes a long time and a lot of failure, I have learned, along the way. You sound like a guy who doesn't need a ton of friends, but a few, and people that you have something in common with. It might mean taking some risks, but it might be worth it. Hey, you asked me to marry you so the least I can do is try to tell you what to do. ;>
1. Being an affectionate person and conservative about whom I sleep with I'm pretty sure I'd fall for the girl and be the one to get hurt. Propaganda can be misleading.
2. Thanks Dee. You're right that I don't need a lot of friends. I consider you all to be my friends and I'm glad I met you guys. So, you married me in one of those drunken Vegas chapel weddings, huh? :( Does that mean you want a quickie divorce? We're just like the celebrities now! :D

Actually, this is just an excuse for me to thank you for last night. You correctly sensed that I was upset and made me feel so much better! *hug*
