Me too. Sometimes I think I should have done BME, as I like putting this stuff together, even if it is simple.

I made a cell homogenizer out of an electric drill, a buret clamp, a claw clamp, and an old homogenizer head I found in the lab last year for this project. Should have gotten a picture of that one.

BME sounds a little more like what I want to do, except I haven't got the biology background for it and I don't particularly like the way biochemistry is going either.

Most of what I love about lab is just setting up the equipments and the experiments. I think it's all because of my craze for LEGOs as a kid.

I wasn't a fan of classroom bio; I generally did worse in those classes in part because I'm not very good at, and I don't care about, memorizing.

However, I love lab biology. Give me some cells, a confocal microscope, a flow cytometer, some antibodies, and I'm a happy girl.

About 50/50 Chemistry/Biology. More chemistry currently.

The green is the artificial coloring of the ethylene glycol (anti-freeze).

I hope that answered the question? lol

It's pretty cool, I'll admit. But it's a lot more directional (and failtastic) than most non-science people realize, I think.
