Dear Midwestern Concert scene..ahem.  Stop having soo many good shows crammed in September and October.  I cannot possibly see everything I want to see and this pains me.  Thank goodness for the festivals I saw this year so that I can just see the bands I haven't already seen this year with a few exceptions.

Elliot Smith's Angel in the Snow makes me want to play guitar.

Neil Gaiman's Stardust the film was such a let down. It is too epic of a book to fit into 2 hours. The plot development was to fast and the things they changed for times sake sucked the adventure out of the story. I liked this book for the adventure not the love story. :(
