I think it sucks that 7 of the 9 shows coming up at The High Ground are metal/hardcore shows. (by the way, have you realized that people aren't using the term "hardcore" much anymore? they've switched to calling everything metal) now, you can disagree and say, "Wait Adrianne. i feel the same way about all the shows being hardcore/metal. i absolutly hate it. im trying to get brad & jay to book the this providence/paramore tour but idk. they say that they book those shows because its what the kids like. but alot of people are against all the shows being hardcore/metal. so idk they need to put more variety. we should start a petition. tell brad or jay how you feel... maybe if enough people speak out to then theyll change that.

ahh, I saw that tour in AP and saw the dates. I thought the same exact thing. I am going to ask them about that as well, and try and get more people too. I really want to see bigger bands in that genre play here, and not just at the House of Blues.
and yes, I know a lot of kids are against the all hardcore/metal shows. I guess we all just don't speak out enough.

i agree.especially with the whole hardcore thing being cool. all these girls who used to be into fob and panic like hardcore now. they annoy me.

lol yeah exactly. I'm gonna talk to some people and we're gonna try and make it as clear as possible that we want more genres. and by more genres I don't mean 3532623 metal shows and then a few other random shows thrown in
