Management isn't as complicated as you might think. Hell, I can call myself a manager based off what I've done at my employer. It's more about sounding confident and competent and knowing the right things to say, as opposed to having lots of actual qualifications.

I'm finally ready to give an explanation and it's remarkably simple but I'm not really ready go be friends again. Here it is. More often than not, I felt bad after we hung out. I'm not sure why and it is most assuredly my problem and not yours.
