A young girl with long white hair is also in the park, quietly picking wild flowers, lying them in her apron carefully. She isn't humming or singing to herself, but her face is gentle and calm.
Upon turning and seeing the man on the bench, though, she gasps quietly and nearly drops the flowers.
Teru starts, almost dropping the paper. He hadn't realised that anyone was there either - apart from the helpful passer-by who gave him the paper in the first place, he hasn't really noticed that anyone else exists here. (Paper, that's important, there's some reason she shouldn't have let him have it...)
"No, it's -" He shakes his head, trying to collect himself. He doesn't want her to think there's something wrong. "I ...didn't see you, either."
"I - apologise, anyway. It was nothing to do with you, I... am new here." And that explains everything. He's allowed to be a mess, and incoherent, and distracted, for now. Who wouldn't be, dragged into another world? No one would suspect anything more than that.
