I really appreciate weekends
Today I feel really productive. Not only have I organised my planning but, with Dad's help in the way of contacts, I sold my car. To be honest, it deserves more than I can offer in the way of being a driver.
I'm jumping on the bandwagon feet first, because I'm a curious kind of girl~

Christmas Eve
Something I've noticed while walking around our city at this time of year is how friendly everyone becomes. Our region, the north east, is thought of as one of the friendliest places in England and I would agree - but the 'Christmas' effect is definitely noticeable. It's also very cold. Our pond is frozen over so the birds get to ice skate :)

Day Off
Although the usual chaos ensued yesterday, such as almost not having enough coach room for all the kids and getting all the right flavours of ice cream for my group during the interval, the theatre panto was a success. At the end of the show one of the actors brought his girlfriend up on stage and proposed to her! So romantic, and she accepted <3

Newcastle
It's been a good day today. Not only am I feeling better in myself, but spent the day on a trip to the Seven Stories centre for children's literature in Newcastle. The kids loved it and I came away with so many ideas. The entire building is like something from a fairytale - colourful, vibrant and full of things to explore. Look to the sky tonight
It's November 5th already? Bonfire night - loved by children and hated by pets all over England. Darkness has just set in and already I can smell fire from my open window. School Holiday
I have the next week off work for half- term break, which means I absolutely must get around to finishing my supporting statement and planning. But not quite yet, since tomorrow I'm going to the Metro Centre with my sister, to find her an outfit to wear to the fashion show her art class are going to this December. I was lost for words when randomly asked at work today if I want to sign up for salsa classes. I managed "Can I think about it?" to which I was told "I'll put your name down."
