Short form: a family was out to eat at Pokez, a restaurant in San Diego, and a waitress mocked, assaulted, and abused their son with autism for taking too long to order. The manager backed her up when one parent complained, telling the family that it was THEIR fault, then told THEM to leave the restaurant.

May I link to this? I've got a son with autism and some friends going to Comic-Con, and I want them to know to avoid this repulsive dump.

The incident was over a year ago and I don't know what the resolution was (the LJ owner put updates under friends lock after making mention of pending legal action). So I'd prefer you just give your son and friends the restaurant name rather than linking at this point in time.

But I'd definitely avoid them even after a year if it were me.
