I hate Vista all over again!!!!  Last night tried to burn a dvd and the burning program that came with the laptop is insane and woudn't work. So I tried to install Nero, but there is COMPATIBILITY problems with Vista and Nero UNLESS you have the latest Nero which of course I don't have!!!  Downloading a trail version atm, it better work otherwise ( Read more... )

I have HOLIDAYS for 2 weeks! 
Holiday plans include:
~ Sydney for 5 days (random spur of the thing)
~ Coles Bay for 3 days
and other boring things like getting car serviced, etc.
But NO work for 2 weeks....happy am I!

1 sleep to go :D Must start packing tonight!!! And find out how many bags I can take as cabin luggage...am not sure about that.

Last day of work for a week...YAY!!!! Happy am I.

While I was oncall last night, I was waiting in the A&E department for some blood. There was a patient there who had a clot in their lung and while I was waiting I overheard the patient and doctor talking about the cause, blah blah (stuff nobody else would be interested in). Last night was great fun! Had lots of laughs. Ross is like Tangent man, Tangent man, what was I saying, Tangent man. He's very fast when it comes to audience comments/participation. Definitely worth seeing :D

It snowed...LOTS last night, no wonder it was cold! And to make matters worse, we had a fire alarm go off at work at 9 this morning so we all had to stand out in the freezing wind for 20 minutes, until the Firefighters gave us the all clear. Guess who decided to wear proper work pants today and had to freeze in them outside....ME!!!!

I want to go see Ross Noble (been on Spicks and Specs), he's coming Tassie in a couple of weeks, does anyone else want to come along?
