confidence is everything.

i think cook grew on me. at first i hated him but i don't know.
for some reason, looking back, the 4th series was a lot better then the 3rd. i think just because of character development, specifically effy. i always like the crazy ones. i started the 5th series while sick and miserable yesterday and for some reason they all feel more real than the 2nd gen. like they're really friends. also this liv person looks so much like jal it's creepy.

what if they're over confident? is that still better than wimpy, meek, and submissive?

i finished the 5th series a few days ago--can't believe i'm ahead of YOU now.
yeah, they definitely got back to, well, not so much realism, but hyper-realism with realistic characters like with the first generation. i liked the 2nd gen kids, but the focus with them was mostly on drugs and sex and the crazy 'edgy' precedent set from the first gen.

in most cases, yes.

franky and mini have to happen. that mattie kid is creepy looking. no one will ever be as attractive and amazing as tony. it's not possible.
the american tony makes me want to kill something. he's so wrong.

i agree about the tony thing. i really wish they would get the 1st gen movie going before they're all way too old to do it.

they seem to have marginalized tony's character in the usa version, too, it's pretty sad. i do like the actress who plays michelle, though. the guy dating the teacher is okay, and cassie/caddie is average. everyone else is LAUGHABLY horrible, though. the minor roles are even worse.
