I'll be 24 on Monday...

Egads I'm getting old...

Tomorrow I have a portfolio due in English critical theory and have a final in modern English grammar but for now I just want to think about what I've read and (hopefully) learned over the quarter. counted out the seconds and my pee was 39-42 seconds long... which has to be some sort of record. I got tired but on the bright side I feel about 4lbs lighter.

I went through a phase where I felt that school was really unnecessary as I'm sure many others have gone through. For a couple years it seemed as if people and books and poems were screaming the idea that school isn't necessary. Deleting Twitter and Facebook was a good thing for awhile. Facebook is only deactivated so I can eventually turn it back on but for now it is nice not constantly checking my feeds on my breaks from class and in work. I *gasp* talk to people on my breaks and have a little human interaction rather than just read about what others think and are doing ( Read more... )

I was linked to this site in my weekly work for my Women's Lit class. It uses an algorithm to try and detect if you are a "male" or "female" writer. It can use a piece of fiction, non-fiction, or a blog entry. I got male! But one of my entries was pretty close....http://bookblog.net/
