Cheer up :) Just wanted to let you know that there is absolutely nothing in the Massachusetts General Laws that states a teacher must have a degree in Special Ed. by 2014. The only thing about 2014 that is important is in regards to the "No Child Left Behind" Act that states students must be more proficient in English and Math by that date, or yadda yadda. But really, there's nothing saying you must have a special education background. Hope that helps. And if you're still unsure, then call either the teacher's union or the D.O.E. :)
well thats just the thing, it was a rumor going around... people were saying it, but i guess as long as its not posted anywhere im okay to get my msters in somethig else
