It's back! Snowflake is back! (well almost, back on the 1st). The happy, love letter to fandom time is returning for another round. I don't know how much I'll participate but it's lovely to go check people's posts and see the various corners of fandom come together for those few weeks.

How does it work? I looked at it but I don't quite get it - they post prompts and challenges? I added the feed to my friends list and might do it. It sounds like fun.

They are low-pressure, fandomy challenges: share five fics you've written, or talk about your first fandom (I wrote a love letter to the X-Files), or rec someone else's work. Then you go over to the DW comm and share a link to your post (I add the fandom when appropriate). If you don't want to link it's also okay, you can just say 'done it'.

If you look in my tags, 'all the snowflakes' is the first one --- scroll through, they'll give you an idea of how it works. It's just meant to be a fun and positive way to start the year - all the good things that keep people connected to fandom.

You'll see I didn't finish last year. That's okay too. No one's counting.

Thanks for the reminder, I'm glad it's continuing this year! I'm going to try to do as many challenges as I can and read others'--I certainly have time on my hands.

Hi there! It's been a while 😊 We're locked down with a 21h00 curfew so I surely have time. I just need to use it sensibly instead of mindlessly scrolling Tumblr!
