Who's the worst dancer in Arashi?

My friend Amethyst and I were chatting and she confessed that she was in a "Sho phase" right now.

And so I recommeded she watch his performance of "Touch me Now" on Youtube. (It's my favorite solo for him because it makes me fan myself after watching...)

Then we watched Arashi performing "Everything" on Utaban, also on Youtube... and I just had to

Gosh, saying worst dancer is just difficult. To say Sho is the worst dancer is actually not fair to him. I'm not saying this coz he's the love of my life but from watching him at concerts last year, I realised that he was such an amazing dancer. It's just Oh-chan is better than him really.

(so basically this comment is just me screaming SHO IS A HOT DANCER - LMAO)

I agree, I love Sho and he's really an amazing dancer.... and I totally didn't notice any faults in their dancing last year at Taipei.... but when I watch PVs or guest performances, and I get to compare them to each other, I grin when I see Sho dancing not as fluidly as the others...

Bad of me, but then I laugh more when Jun gets pitchy and nasal when he sings... Gomen, ichiban, I deem you the worst singer of Arashi, LOL... although you've been improving, i think....

Sho is HOT!!! and definitely a HOT dancer.... I often watch "Touch Me Now" because he's just so sexy!

I've been doing fine.... still swamped though, hehe... how about you? I need to really finish going thru my f-pages...

It's true when you say he's not as fluid, I was watching a performance the other day and Sho was slightly behind the others, looking like he was trying to keep up. xD

Have I ever mentioned I can never make it through Sho's raps and solos (especially when theyre in English!) because I end up blushing because of his voice? It so deep, kyyyyaaaa. >.Err, good luck sorting out your f-list. XD You should probably do what I did, I sent a note/pm (though you could make a post) to everyone on my friends list on when it became to flooded, I said anyone that wanted to remain on my friends list had to message me back (or make a comment) by a certain time, because most of them didn't talk to me or they didn't go online anymore. You might have inactive journals you befriended when wrote the NC-17 chapter, that would probably help out your crowded f-list..maybe. It's just a suggestion

Yup, I really noticed the difference between his dancing in that "Everything" performance at Utaban. And he's not as flexible as the others. Some of the graceful moves seem awkward when he performs them... but again, that's because he's all male! Sigh!

And yes, his voice... so deep... when he sings and he lets his voice go low, it gives you shivers.... kyaaa!!!

Oh, I'm not sorting out my f-list.... just trying to go through all the entries on my friends pages... I was even debating whether I should go through it all, but then I really don't want to miss what's been happening in the fandom... so I'm reading them all, hehe, it will just take some time.

Michael Jackson was one of Jun's idols, ne? And so very many artists have been influenced by him. I think he was a great man... but also a sad and damaged one. May he rest in peace...

I wouldn't conclude that Sho's the worst dancer in the group (or maybe I'm just biased..lol) but I guess I do notice him the least when it comes to group performances. nyahaha! I actually like Aiba during group performances. He has like an extra bounce to his steps. Ohno's pretty neutral when in a group. If it weren't for his solos I would never know he's an amazing dancer. As for Nino and Jun..hmmm..sometimes they're good but other times they have this fruity flair. XD *ducks bricks from Jun and Nino fans*

Anyways, how are you? Well if you're in Manila this Saturday, we're going to hang out at Ate Alma's again. heehee :)

Hehe, my favorite points of comparison with Sho to the others is the intro part when they were doing the slow leg moves and also at about 1:48 minutes, when they were all dancing together... gomen ni-ban!!! LOL...

You're right that Ohno just blends in when they dance together, so that's what makes his solos so much more amazing. Yes, Aiba bounces... Jun pretty much dances like the cam whore that he is, hehehe, no arguments on his flair... but Nino sometimes gets too exuberant when he moves... very flexible, nyahahaha...

I'm okay and hope you're doing well too... I'm actually gonna be in Manila on Saturday for my sister's wedding entourage dress measurements and stuff... I'm not sure if I can make it to Ate Alma's... up to what time are you guys there?

I actually don't know the exact time we're going to Ate Alma's. Morning daw sabi ni Em. We're usually there up until 9:30pm anyways.If you can make it, that's cool but if you can't that's ok then. :)

The worst dancer in Arashi?
maa...that's quite subjective for me coz each of them has their 'moments' of so-so dance...sometimes one may go too "mollusc" for my taste,sometimes one may go too bouncy for me, then one may also go a bit kawaii for me, sometimes a bit "hip-hop-and-bounce-alot" for my taste and sometimes lack spirit in the movements. Fatigue, I guess...
but that's quite rare...
and I totally agree with patziepiva, it's not that sho is a bad dancer, it's just that Ohchan is better than him. (so this is totally a "love one-love all" comment from me...and besides, I'm trying not to sound biased for my ichiban..ha..ha)

Am doing ok, quite busy though... I had fun on both my trips, the jellyfish sting I was talking about in my previous post is now fading into a nice looking scar.... hehehe... and yes, 500 pages... bleh!!!!

Hahaha, aren't we all biased?!? But I like the fact that we accept the individual personalities of all of them, and how they express that in their dance moves. Definitely only Arashi...

Hmm I've never thought to myself that any of them are bad dancers. I think they all have a unique dancing style. I would agree that Sho is the stiffest dancer, but I wouldn't say that makes him the worst. I can't choose someone to be the worst, because in each group performance I see someone who I think, "ahh, dame" and it is a different member each time. I'm sure we can all agree that Ohno is the best dancer, but apart from that, I can't decide on anything. Yeah, Aiba is extra bouncy, Sho is stiffer, and Jun and Nino are a bit feminine (actually Nino is super feminine while dancing)... but I think Aiba's bounciness gives him exuberant dance moves, Sho's stiffness works well for sharp dance movements, and Jun and Nino's girly-ness (for lack of a better word) makes their dancing flow well. I guess it all depends on how you look at it. :) But yes, Sho is all male. (At the same time, I don't think that excuses his stiffer movements haha).

They're really good dancers... but because they're a group, I can't help comparing... hehehe... Sho is definitely the stiffer dancer... I wish his outfit was different for that Utaban performance of "Everything" because it made his movements look bulkier than they were... i think... As for Nino... he sometimes looks like he's all arms and legs when he dances. It's a different kind of girly-ness from Jun whose movements come from his hips, hehe. Aiba is also pretty graceful but then no one can top Ohno in dancing...

But for me, Sho is definitely the most manly among them... totally potent in his masculinity... Kyaaa! XD

Haha I love how whenever someone says, "Sho is a manly man!", you "Kyaaa!" like crazy! XD Sho and Jun's outfits kind of matched in the performance, which made me far too happy, but yes, Sho's outfit wasn't the best.

Haha, yes!!! I forever "Kyaaa!!!" his manliness... And I was also quite pleased with our favorite pair being matched in outfits... demo gomen to Sho because Jun dominated the dancing parts for me...

Hehe, this icon is from the December 2008 Music Station Superlive performance they did where they sand Truth and One Love. I got that pic from my LJ friend saariii. I only make Jun, Arashi or SakuMoto icons for my own use, hahaha! XD
