The universe's expansion isn't slowing down, or re-imploding... For some reason the expansion of the universe is currently accelerating and scientists don't know why yet!

There, did you learn? I know lots more things like that. >.>

You are more likely to get attacked by a cow than a shark.

The most common time for a bank robbery is Friday, between 9 and 11 a.m. The least likely time is Wednesday, between 3 and 6 p.m.

The first toilet being flushed in a motion picture was in the movie Psycho.

There are no clocks in Las Vegas gambling casinos.

There are more telephones than people in Washington, D.C.

Ralph Lauren's original name was Ralph Lifshitz.

In West Virginia if you run over an animal, you can legally take it home and cook it for dinner!

Some lions mate over 50 times a day.

My brother was attacked by a cow once :D:D:D
I can see why people wouldn't put clocks in casinos. People have no idea of the time they spend, then~
I'm not surprised about the telephone thing- lately everyone has to have at least one cell phone and a couple home phones. It's weird!
ahahah.... Lifshitz. Ahaha!
And my response to the West Virginia thing, EW! Ewy ew ew ew ew.
Awesome facts! Did you know you're vastly more likely to be killed by a falling coconut than by a shark attack?

Over 200 million neutrinos pass through just one of your fingernails per second!

Approximately 75% of the existence we can measure around us is made of "Dark Energy," and we have no real clue what it is.

The EPA report dictating that second-hand smoke causes cancer was thrown out by a federal court for being a crock of crap, and there's no statistically significant study that in any way indicates that second hand smoke can cause cancer. I learned that yesterday, myself. o.o

I'm so helpful. >.>

It's so awesome how much we know, and how little we know, and how we calculate 200 million neutrinos passing through fingernails!
Where'd you learn the thing about the EPA report and stuff? I've heard the opposite, that the cigarette companies were all saying NAW THERE'S NO PROBLEM WITH SECOND-HAND SMOKE while all the tests said there waaaaas...
Yay you are awesome :D

Penn and Teller's Bullsh*t on Showtime had an entire episode dedicated to debunking the whole secondhand smoke thing. Second-hand. Second hand.. .. whatever XD

Anyway, both of them are non-smokers and hate second-hand smoke themselves, but they don't think the laws are kosher since there's, according to them and their research team, and also a lady who was the president of something important to do with national health, no research to indicate that it causes cancer.

I know, it's weird. I always thought mom was killing me with her evil vapors of doom. Now I just have the whole "esophagus.. collapsing.. go.. away.." reason to not be around her smoking... BUT SHE QUIT AND I HAPPY CAUSE SHE MIGHT LIVE TO BE 90 NOW! .. She's only 44 so I'm not holding my breath. XD

Zebras are born with brown stripes, or born with one color and grow into the other color. *nod*

Prettyyyy :D Dalmations and Australian Cattle Dogs and some other dog breeds are born with white fur, which gradually turns into their mature color.

Also~ Also~ Babies are born with blue eyes, which turn to their mature color eventually. The time varies from species to species; with cats it can take months~
