i'm uncomfortable with this quote because it seems to let people off the hook. i think we do ourselves a great disservice if we ignore the evil within ourselves and separate ourselves from those we consider "corrupt" or "corruptable" as though we could never be like them.
none of us is pure and we must all remain vigilant against our inner darkness if we are to avoid corruption.

Oh, I agree, but I don't just collect quotes that I agree with entire, sometimes it is a grain of truth and a lot of thought, sometimes just a provoker of thought... and sometimes just because they make me laugh.

Then again, a one or two liner rarely covers the entirety of a thought or issue.
