Why is it that other people get so much STUPIDER when you put them in charge of things? Apparently I need to send SCAD a transcript from UT. For the sake of a single class I took there, which appears on the transcript from Scripps

Unfortunately, that's pretty universal for grad school apps-heck, I think I even had to ask the UW to send two copies of my transcript for a few summer classes that I took there *to themselves.*

As far as payment, do they take E-checks (like a debit transaction, but use your bank account number and routing number, and operate over a different network)?

Good luck getting this resolved.

... Wait, they made you pay to send transcripts from one side of their admissions office to the other? That really is spectacular. In a really horrible way, but still spectacular.
They did take e-checks, but I left my checkbook in Texas, so I had to call my mom and ask her to find it for me.
It all worked out okay, and as long as everything gets there by the 15th I'm in the clear.

More precisely, to the Graduate School and to the Chemistry department, so they at least had to cross a street, but still, you'd figure that all you would need to do is give permission for them to access your transcript instead of paying four bucks apiece, even if you walk them across said street.

But yeah, they like to charge for things. The silliest that I have seen was for one of said classes that I had to get the transcript for (intro psych back in 2002), where the exams were Bring Your Own Scantron Form...

Glad things worked out ok with the transcripts.

who in the world doesn't take visa? i think UT is the only place like AT ALL.

I know, right? They're dumb.
Although, to be fair, I already knew that - I had this same problem when I was paying for the class in the first place...
