So, yeah. I have a proper computer again. This will make essays so much easier. My hands are not small enough to write papers on an Eee PC.

Sadly enough, no. It was Norton - my computer came bundled with Symantec anti-virus software, which apparently broke the internet. I don't think that was the original problem (I'm pretty sure it was removed right after I first got the computer), but it was definitely the culprit after the reset...

Well, keeping a machine from accessing the internet probably does a decent job of keeping malware off of it :p
