I am pretty sure I was happier not knowing what games had SecuROM on them.
Because I can't install them ever again unless I steal a copy.
Which is ironic, really, given that the entire point of DRM is supposedly to keep me from doing just that ( Read more... )

Remember, unless it comes from an indie developer, pirate first and ask questions later. Questions like "did you ever even speak to your pr department?"

*laugh* Yeah, I'm figuring that out.
It makes me really sad, though, because I want to work for a company that doesn't deliberately antagonize half their fanbase.

Yeah. The thing that's even worse is that people are still using StarForce. Which is even meaner and more likely to put your computer in a coma.
And the company responsible for StarForce is now partnered up with Microsoft, apparently, because they aspire to become a real, live Evil Corporate Empire.
