I'd have given my left arm to have seen the original Waitresses with Patty Donahue. And probably two limbs to have caught one of the incredibly few live shows when Holly Beth Vincent filled in for her. *sigh*

Wow, I was expecting you to reply with stories of you and Patty getting your nails done together or something. I'll make sure the time machine seats two when I get it built to go see them.

My number one "wish I would have seen when he/she was alive" would definitely be Queen. Then after that, T.Rex.

I also have persistent fantasies about seeing bands during certain eras, like Japan before they went Eurotrash or Sparks when they were HUGE in the U.K. and Russell Mael wore tennis shorts. And although I've seen JG Thirlwell twice in his Foetus incarnation and both times were amazing, I would love to have seen him before he had the live backing band and would just sing over tapes.

QUEEN! God, how could I forget them. I feel like watching them on Live Aid almost counts; it was so riveting!
