The BBC web site news story "Row over 'street in sky' estate" describes the notorious Robin Hood Gardens estate thus:

On the one hand, it's kind of hilarious. On the other hand, I just submitted a complaint to the BBC, because I am actually rather appalled by the idea that they would cut & paste from Wikipedia. If the author of that article were a university student, he/she would be in very deep shit.

Looking stuff up is all very well, but for heaven's sake, weren't we all taught in school how to paraphrase?

Yes, and as a result one of my friends thought I was stretching the definition of "plagiarism" to an unreasonable degree. :) I'm now waiting to see if they contact me to acknowledge my complaint, like I asked them to.

Like Robin Hood Gardens, I was also completed in 1972.

The article's not an exact copy of yours now, btw.
