Let's talk about the "-tarians"!

Oct 15, 2008 13:05

Because I'm hungry right now and looking through recipes...

Hehehe, how many of you knew I turned vegetarian?
As in honest to God, vegetarian, no eating meat when people
is not looking which includes FISH.
(fish IS MEAT and it ISN'T vegetarian! that's PESCAtarian, you fools!)

But to clear up some confusion on what is what... )

vegan, article, vegetarian

Garlic, onions, leeks...are, mushrooms?

Mushrooms are considered one of the 'pungent' veggies? *curious*

Not pungent but more like where it grows and properties.

Garlic, onions, leek (onion family) are considered as food of passion.
Which means it lights up THAT fire, if you know what I mean.

Mushroom is considered as a food of ignorance since it grows in dark places, on dead things like dead trees, shit and stuff...
Grows at dirty places regardless if it is cultivated by humans.

It isn't harmful to the body but it does influence the personality a bit, though it isn't obvious.

I assure you, I actually don't miss mushrooms. It had a slight different taste and interesting texture, but besides that... the mushroom isn't much lol

It can be frustrating when ordering "vegetarian food" and get eggs and sometimes prawns in it too. Sometimes you have to be careful with Chinese food too because they may use Oyster sauce or prawn paste (sambal). I can't stay away from milk and honey though.. I love it too much ♥
