Looking through old notes of mine from last semester, I come across this:

GGT very stable. Alcoholic cirrhosis. L gamma glutamyl p-nitro-whatever is the substrate protein analog that is used for measuring in the body. The substrate is something else.

What?! Was I stoned when I was taking these notes??
