Chesterstead w 5: McNulty

I'm working hard to get my promotions. They say I've climbed very fast but I have a clear goal in mind.
To one day live with my dear Anya. I visited her as often as I could.
And one day my dream came true!
But not only had she bought the most beautiful little house; she was expecting! We were to be parents!
Anya had also bought a place called Dance!; it was her dance studio until she had learned enough to be able to actually work as a dancer. She wants to become a ballet dancer!
It was wonderful to finally live with Anya; to have a normal life with her. Previously she'd just been on the phone while I was eating and reading. Now she was here in real life! And we were to be mothers! Anya had prepared; she'd already bought the necessities from Inga's Little Store.
We were talking about Dance! Anya still wanted to work there but she was worried about the stress. I didn't want to push her. I guess that if I were the one carrying the baby I would go nuts just staying at home all day.
Turned out we were right about the stress. Anya stayed home for the rest of the pregnancy. And yes, she nearly went nuts.
I work with this guy, Humberto. He and Anya are from the same town outside of Chesterstad and she says she just can't understand why he's joined the Armed Forces. I do have to agree. Humberto is the kind of guy who should just marry some nice person and start a farm with him or her, have 10 kids and a million grand kids. He's a great co-worker, but he really should be doing something else, haha.
It was early morning when it was finally time. I was shocked to see Anya in such pain but we managed.
And she was beautiful, our little Samantha.
I was still working hard. But hoping to soon get to work less and stay home with my wonderful family more.
How could I stay away from this?
And well... we quite soon realised Samantha was going to have a little brother or sister!
Luckily for us this time, Anya's Dance! had now reached a level where she could let it rest and use it in her CV to apply for a job in the dance career. This would definitely mean less stress on her part; as a beginner she wouldn't be dancing that much and we would have a steady income.
Suddenly, I was the stay at home mum. At least for a short while; I could take some time off to let Anya start her career until she would be home for the last part of the pregnancy and then for the first year with the little one.
I loved it! I could sit and study and then play with little Sam.
But Anya was growing and it was time for her to stay home.
Wow, did time fly! Sam was now a toddler and soon the new baby would come!
She looked so much like her mother! (I'm "mum" now, and Anya "mother")
Anya, with a big belly and back pains, wasn't that amused by the potty training-phase we'd entered, haha.
She was huuuge this time! We joked about it alot. I'd go "Where's my submarine?" and Anya would reply "Blub blub", hahahaha.
Sometimes I realised I'd become just what my mother had in a way wanted; a mother and a loving wife. But she never would've expected me to be a career woman as well. And she never encouraged me either. I would always encourage Sam to be whatever she wanted; no matter if it was something career oriented or a stay-at-home mother. I would never limit her choices.
I was very excited for the next baby too. But we had to move. We've been looking at a wonderful house just over the street and we're planning to move there before the new baby arrives. Which is soon!
I'm really glad we have the guitar outdoors. I love Anya but I'm happy she and her raging hormones aren't in the house when she needs to let off some steam.

- Ok, so Sam is a scary looking kid. I have actually aged her up to check what she'll look like! Stay calm, all of you; she does grow into that face!
- I LOVE THIS FAMILY! They are so much fun!
- I was really worried about Dance! there for a while; I just couldn't get any stars! Eventually I actually began selling some "dancing shoes" just to increase the costumer interaction.
- Humberto is, just liek Anya by maranatah. So it made sense that they would know each other ;) And I know he's a family sim and when you download him he's in a farmer's outfit; he really shouldn't be in the army, haha.
