I analyzed the language with a friend and we wondered if it was Swedish or Danish - Eric was Danish in books if we recall correctly. Anyway, I managed to learn three words! Kvinen, svin and dod with this fun thing over the "o"!

The language was Swedish. I haven't read more than half of book 4, but yet there's nothing of his origin. But then, southern part of Sweden was Danish for a while back there, part of Finland has been Swedish, as has Norway. So a thousand years ago, i don't know where the borders where, haha.

Yes our "ö" is very typical Swedish, lol!
